About Alpha Sigma Alpha Beta Beta Chapter

Alpha Sigma Alpha first began as a group of 4 women at Longwood College who all shared the same core values of balance, generosity, growth, integrity, learning, relationship, responsibility, and enjoyment. Since beginning this sorority in the small town of Framville, Virginia in 1901, Alpha Sigma Alpha has grown to include over 120,00 members across the United States. 50 of these members can be found at the University of Northern Colorado on the present day. First installed at UNC on February 19,1916, women across campus have flocked to our chapter and our concern for others. Member in our chapter are known for being women of poise and purpose throughout all areas of life. Every member of our chapter makes sure to uphold our shared core values as well as our vision for ourselves within the sorority to maintain the ideals our founding members once had for us.
