Philanthropy

Weld County Food Bank

The Weld County Food Bank is our local philanthropy that helps to fight hunger in our local community. Our sisters go to the food bank about once a month to help them in any way that they need. We also volunteer at different fundraising events that they host throughout the year.

Special Olympics 

Special Olympics is an organization that provides sports activities to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. Our chapter makes cards for these athletes, as well as attends the annual Polar Plunge event. We also attend different tournaments and events throughout the year, as well as support them during their practices and games!

Girls on the Run 

Girls on the Run is a running club for young girls. Our chapter gets to support and encourage them at races, and we also make them goodie bags throughout the year to hand out to them. They are filled with hair ties, cards, and bracelets that we make along with other goodies!

Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation

The Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation supports all members across the nation with any monetary need they might have. This can cover unexpected medical bills and give sisters financial scholarships. A part of the money raised during our philanthropy weeks each semester goes towards this!
